July 22 (Lagos) - President Biden has stepped out of the 2024 US Presidential race and endorsed his VP Kamala Harris to lead the election fight. It remains to be seen if she will be the chosen candidate by the Democratic party.
The move has turned the US election on its head as the challenger ex-President Trump was projected to defeat Biden going by the latest ratings. Now the elections are likely to be a much more close affair than many expected.
US future were higher on the news as confirmation that Biden would not be President is taken as a big positive for the economy. Last week's huge cyber crash that almost brought the world to its knees continues to remain a hot topic with most of the blame being put on a security Company called Crowdstrike and various conspiracy theories start emerging.
Last week President Trump narrowly escaped an attempt on his life while delivering a speech in his re-election bid. The President seemed to turn his head at just the exact moment the bullet scraped his ear right in front of his followers and security entourage.
The President recovered quickly and appeared to raise his fist in the air and shout "fight".
